Patent Process for Experienced Inventors
This one-day seminar takes inventors through the process of obtaining a patent in a more in-depth and advanced way than does our course for Inexperienced Inventors. The following is a partial listing of what inventors may learn in this seminar:
- How to continue to maximize the chances of obtaining a patent:
- What happens when the Patent Office rejects your claims
- How to help your attorney/agent prepare for a hearing before the Board of Patent Appeals and Interferences
- Detailed steps required for obtaining international patent protection
This seminar covers those aspects of patent law that you, the client, wish to examine. The course is modular in structure and can be modified to make a perfect fit for your inventors, scientists, engineers, and support staff, covering only what they want to cover and/or what you want them to know about the current state of the patent law in the United States.
This seminar also provides an excellent introduction to US patent law for non-US inventors and their companies. The course is offered only in English at this time. The modules of this course is currently being videorecorded; the module videos are expected to be available for purchase in 2009.
DISCLAIMER: This is not a patent bar review course.
